So I have just finished the Jasmine Gothic Cottage in 1/2 scale... (well sorta... it needs landscaping which I will finish next weekend). There are lots of things I liked about this kit. The pieces just slipped together perfectly. I LOVE the plexi glass windows, and the interior "supports" for the tower roof are ingenious, it was so simple to assemble the roof. The door is wonderful and I love how it is pre-hung for you (I am horrible with hinging doors.) I did sand down the length of the tabs just a touch so they wouldn't poke out in places... but this was not an issue at all... it's just a personal preference of mine. This kit had pre-scored siding, which is really cool. I did cover up most of it with a stucco effect using paint, but that was the look I was going for on this build. I left the siding look on the tower section and I think it looks wonderful stained. This kit completed my 32nd build, and I enjoyed every minute of it. (Ok, not the parquet floor... but that was nothing to do with the kit, just something I learned I didn't like doing... hee hee). I am getting ready to start the Little Ann kits... I will be using 2 together. I will be happy to answer any questions if anyone has them. This was a great kit, and I plan to buy more.

thank you so much.... I was inspired by Peles Castle in Romania. I was lucky enough to visit the real castle in October and wanted to do something that had the same feel. I will add a few more pictures next weekend after I have it landscaped.

Well, I just received my Jasmine Gothic kit, after opening the box my first reaction was "wow". Great looking quality, and the trim is to die for. I plan to start building right away, not sure where to post my progress? But just wanted to say thanks to Leonard for a great kit at a great price and I look fw to getting started :-)

Karin,
Just log into the kit you are doing and on the right you will see Create Thread. From there click and give your thread a name. Hit post and you are on your way.
Thank you

kelly, your house belongs in a museum, not a dollhouse museum, an art museum!

Kelly, thank you so much for posting the additional photographs of your fine work. Very impressive! Unless a few pictures showed the obvious scale, some others look like an authentic actual home. This is amazing to me.
