I thought I would make a thread to chronicle the construction of the 1/24 Ashley. This will be a long, slow process for me, working for an hour or two after work before it gets too dark. So far, I've been slowly working on the porch rails and trim.

I'm glad to finally get started on the painting and am really enjoying the precision of this kit.

I've spent the last several weeks working on the exterior window frames. They are finally all painted and ready to hang! Next on the list is to paint the exterior walls and interior first floor. Then, it's time to begin assembly of the first floor. I'm having a wonderful time working on this project! :-)

It's been slow going but I've finally finished up the first floor exterior! Still need to do all the inside rooms and finish the porch floor (not sure how yet). All the warpage has been flattened out, thanks to being an being an avid reader with lots of big thick books! haha Enjoy the photos!
