The Hegeler Carus Mansion is my next quarter scale build. While I wait for the kit to arrive, I am researching and planning on how to decorate and furnish each of the rooms plus hallways. In the attached pictures, you will see a very rough layout of each room.
These are most of the 1:48 scale furniture pieces in my collection to date. Some are kits from BJ Minis, Karen Benson Miniatures, Karen Cary's Miniatures, etc. and some are commissions directly from the artisans while others were ready-made purchases from eBay or etsy.
When possible, I also like to fill my miniature homes with meaningful pieces. The knight was part of a Christmas gift from my husband. The vintage metal tub was a gift from a fellow miniaturist and friend who found it on one of her antique trips.
Since this is a work in progress, I will post updates.
