Just an update, parts cutout and assembly instructions are on the start, hope to be done and finished with the house and ready to sell by early next week...

Well for the past few evenings from 5pm to @ 11pm after a day of filling orders I have been working on the 1:12 scale. Crazy busy but in a good way!!  Guess it looks to be a busy weekend as I complete this.. I hope..   |

Here is the completed 1:12 minus shingles and siding. Have not decided on adding them to the kit or not.. House measures 23" wide X 46" deep X 54" tall. The rooms have 10" ceiling heights, 8 rooms below the roof with hallway and in the roof one large room with a loft in the tower. So 10 rooms and the two halls. A front yard fenced off with working double gate, French doors to a balcony with matching 6 diamond pattern, fretwork for the porch, two of our Lancaster straight staircases, 12 newel post for the porch stairs, stairs to tower loft and safety rails around stairs in the hall, 5 of our Rowen Palladian double windows with glass and interior frames, 12 of our Rowen single 6 diamond custom windows with glass and interior frames, opening right side roof panel, and opening right and left side wall panels. Also comes with 4 of our single arched interior doors and main entry 6 diamond doors, all which function. Ok I had to put off the completion of cutting out another 1:48 Stansfield Victiorian… This is due some orders and I decided to return to the 1:12 Stansfield as I had an idea for a routing table design for doing the 1:12 siding in full sheet templates. After a long evening and thought I made the work table and designed a bench for routing out 1/2" spaced siding for 1:12 scale houses. Never enjoyed the cost of the siding in the 3.5"x 24" sheets as they are so expensive and if I went with those it would increase the house price by around $250.00 as the sheet are so small and require around 30 to complete. Looking at increase in house sell price by $250 and not even completed the shingle fir the kit seemed unreasonable. So making my own siding to keep pricing down and give the house the best chance of finding more customers homes is what I’ve done and plan to add around $75.00 for siding. I do not think you can find a better deal than that and they are ready to install. Sure beats having to do single strips. Picture one is the wall around the French door to show you the full wall precut siding sheet. Picture two is the completed walls that I did this afternoon. Just need to cut the route the final walls now that I am happy with the routing table design and I know it functions as planned. More picture to come once the remaining walls are done. Then I will design the 1:12 shingles... Thanks. .   |
