Received my Stephanie the beginning of Dec. It was even better than I thought it would be. I did the dry fit and left it sit for a couple of weeks for inspiration. It's slow going, but I'm not in a rush. Much contemplation...my wheels are turning. Happy with what I've accomplished so far. Some photos attached. Playing around with the LED lights just to see what it will look like. Made the chandelier's with fishing string and beads. The fireplace will flicker. Windows aren't glued just yet, still painting and thinking.
Thank you polymermini! Here are some more photos Far from being done, but having a blast! Doing some "stone" work lately. Putting sand in a strainer to collect the bigger "river rock"...I'm lovin the look. The trim was just too bland, so I added the purple pop of color. I thought it would be a nice contrast. Have to make more chandeliers for the second floor. Still need to side the second floor, as I prefer the "3D" look better than just painting over the lines. Covered the front door because I took off the protective film, and don't want it scratched in construction. Going to wait until last to add the window glass and panes to avoid dirt, dust etc... Using LED battery lights. Had to do some planning, routing and soldering, but it's working out nicely as well. Thank you to kdnorman for the LED Evan designs suggestion in her posts! Very helpful.
